Confirm who filmed and owns it
Use footage you personally filmed and own, or have permission to license commercially. Videos downloaded from TikTok, Reddit or YouTube, reposts and shared links are not automatically yours to license.
Review third-party rights
Background music, graphics, private settings or identifiable people can create rights or privacy concerns. Keep records of consent and permissions when relevant. Merely naming a creator is not a substitute for their permission.
Preserve the highest-quality original
Keep your source file and useful context. DCC currently supports original video uploads, including MP4, MOV and WebM, with file integrity, antivirus and rights checks. The uploader is not currently for standalone photos.
Describe what really happened
Give the video a clear title and an accurate description. Explain what the viewer sees; do not add unsupported stories or misleading claims about the moment.
Understand editorial review
Uploading, being accepted into a library, being selected for publication and generating eligible earnings are different stages. Rejections are possible. Refer to the full submission guide and current terms.
